How position sizing works
Decide how much of your account you are willing to lose if the stop loss is hit — most traders use 0.5% to 2%. The distance between entry and stop loss tells you how much one unit loses. Divide the money at risk by that distance to get the number of units, then divide by the lot size.
Example: ₹1,00,000 account, 1% risk = ₹1,000. Entry 22,000, stop 21,950 → 50 points of risk per unit → 20 units.
